
The Site
This is an area that has suffered enormous devastation and exploitation for the use of raw material, limestone. For years the stone has been extracted from this place by means of dynamite, leaving as a result extremely rugged terrain and lack of vegetation.
Structure
A structure is composed by frames with minimal impact to the mountain was proposed, which allows the coexistence sought between architecture and site.
Ventilation
In addition, by separating the buildings of the mountain it prevents the greenhouse effect and allow a continuous cross ventilation to each of the elements of construction.
Gabions in Facade
The use of gabions allows to create a double facade and gives comfort through the air circulation and a better heat control. It also provides continuity, making a simbiosis with the mountain.
