The facade was designed in order to have a separate space for the entrance and the place for the cars. However, visual connection was needed in order to provide natural light to the mentioned space.
The dark limestone material accentuates the entrance and guides the visitor towards the wooden door. The space between the entrance roof and the garage allows natural light and at the same time creates a rhythm of shadows with the aim of the wall between them.
The artificial light plays as well an important role in the design, embracing the rhythm of the wall between the garage and the entrance. The dark wall is at the same light up showing the path to the user.
